FOOD AS MEDICINE
There's a direct connection between what you eat and how you feel. You already know this. But finding a practice that actually works, one that gives you confidence that you're doing the right thing, can feel impossibly elusive, and the frustration of searching, trying different approaches, and still feeling depleted is exhausting in itself. This has been my journey with food…
My working life has always been connected to hosting and cooking, and my understanding of food's healing capacity deepened when I followed the path of yoga. I'm self-taught, learning through experience and curiosity about how food affects body and mind.
When I stopped eating meat and moved to France to run a yoga retreat, I didn't fully appreciate the differences in vegetarian foods for individual digestion. I ate too many heavy pulses that didn't suit my constitution, and my digestion ground to a halt. I experienced thyroid issues, exhaustion, bloating, and brain fog.
An Ayurvedic doctor changed everything. I learned that nourishment is directly related to your unique digestive fire, and while there's a seasonal approach, a varied diet is key to balance.
I teach how to work with your individual constitution, to improve digestion and understand what truly sustains your vitality, improving your emotional and physical health and providing confidence and a new enthusiam in your own food choices.
